Longer lifespan central to Longevity Day in Lisbon

On 4 June 2026, Lisbon will host the first Longevity Day, a special event dedicated to living longer and healthier lives. This will take place during the NFC Summit, a major technology and entrepreneurship conference that attracts thousands of people from across Europe every year. Longevity Day brings together scientists, doctors, entrepreneurs and investors who are focused on the latest developments in ageing.

The Longevity Day programme is divided into three themes: lessons from the past, current knowledge and future prospects. This will cover traditional insights as well as the latest scientific discoveries and biotechnology. In this way, the organisers aim to provide a broad and inspiring picture of how we can improve lifespan and health.

The location of the event is the Unicorn Factory in Lisbon, a place known as a breeding ground for innovative ideas. The day offers a unique opportunity to hear and share new knowledge, and to network with people who focus on promoting health as we get older.

For those interested in active and healthy ageing, Longevity Day offers important insights. It demonstrates how scientific research and practical applications can go hand in hand to make life not only longer, but also healthier.
